ABOUT ANNE

Anne Trytko is a composer for film, television, and games, based out of Colorado and Los Angeles. She grew up playing piano, saxophone, and oboe and performing in bands and orchestra. Music was a constant part of her life, and she later became drawn to film scores and the way they could become part of the story, connect us with the characters, and bring another layer of emotion to a scene. That interest led her to pursue a career in film scoring.

Anne earned her degree in Composition for Film, Television, and Games from Berklee College of Music and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her background in psychology informs her perspective on character, emotion, and the ways music can shape an audience’s experience of a story.

Her experience extends beyond the scoring stage. Anne also has extensive experience working on set in the art department, giving her first hand knowledge of the day to day realities of film production. Her experience in audio includes working as an Assistant Audio Engineer at a Colorado recording studio, where she assisted with albums and short film cues. She has also worked as a composer’s assistant for a Los Angeles based composer, gaining additional experience in the film scoring industry.

Anne has been working professionally in film music for more than a decade. Her scoring credits include the narrative feature film When Angels Fear, currently streaming on Apple TV and Prime Video, the feature documentary Set Her Free, as well as short films including Cutter and Dippy Club. Her work also includes promotional pieces and development projects for film and television.

Anne approaches each project individually, crafting the sounds, instrumentation, and musical language that make the score an intrinsic part of the story.
